MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca, the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia was which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album that year. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo has a musical background, both his parents and brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo has stated that music is a must. As a child, was playing the ukulele and piano. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing classes with a Cuban teacher and the end consequence of him discovering his gift as a singer altered his entire life.
