Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. After appearances in a variety of film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). He gained wider recognition for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). His role in the Marvel series established him as one of the top-paid actors.
